Import FAQ

The United States only requires testing prior to shipment for stallions and mares over 2 years of age that are originating from CEM Affected Counties. USA requires negative tests for CEM within 30 days of shipment. That being said it is certainly advisable to pre test all horses prior to shipment to USA for the four blood tests the horses will be tested for while in quarantine after arrival. These tests are EIA, Piroplasmosis, dourine and glanders.
